Leaving your pets behind when you go away is always difficult, but life happens and sometimes our pets need to stay at home.
At Home Pet Care provides a variety of services designed to give you peace of mind while you're away. Our pet visits ensure your pet in familiar surroundings—minimising stress, maximising comfort, and offering a more convenient and cost-effective alternative to traditional boarding.
Visits can be arranged for all types domestic animals , whether this is in your home, your garden or another place where you keep them.
This includes (not exhaustively): cats, dogs, rabbits, guinea pigs, rats, mice, hamsters, gerbils, chinchillas, other small mammals, ferrets, snakes, lizards, other reptiles, fish, arachnids, horses, ponies, sheep, goats, other large/ farm animals, parrots, cockatiels, other exotic birds, pigeons, chickens, geese and other poultry.
SERVICES
- Visits to feed, refresh water and clean up after your pets
- Playtime and pampering, if your pet is happy to do this and if time allows
- Letting out/ bringing in
- Dog walking
- Giving medication, including injections
- Pet transport

Personal care for your pet
Hi, I'm Jen, a trusted pet care professional who has cared for animals all my life. Growing up with pedigree dogs, horses, rabbits, hamsters, exotic birds, poultry and pigeons, I now have rescue cats at home, one with medical needs.
For many years I volunteered for a rehoming charity and experienced all kinds of rescue situations. In Thailand I worked with street cats and dogs, some saved from the meat trade, which provided me with skills to assist animals with special needs.
I understand that every pet has a backstory, which is why I offer bespoke services as well as the standard visits.
Although you can't be replaced as their owner whilst you're away, I will ensure that your pet feels loved and cared for until you return home.
I offer a professional, flexible and recommended service that is fully insured and DBS checked.
